I am going to document the progress of my 1920s tap pants! I have just started these, and I added a lot of seam allowance; for, I have had a lot of issues with sewing in the past with the seam allowance, so I am just going to add a lot. They look very poor in quality right now, ha-ha. Please trust the process! They are a lot bigger than what they will turn out to be, because I’d rather have something much bigger than much smaller. I am going to start trimming off the edges and working on the waistline. I will do a button placket instead of elastic. To me, tailoring in sewing is quite fun, so I don’t mind doing all of this for the right fit!
